The tradition of the Royal Family attending Christmas Day service at St Mary
Magdelene Church on the Sandringham Estate, Norfolk has returned after the pandemic.
Christmas 2020 and 2021 were celebrated in smaller family groups due to COVID, but this year the Royal Family reunited to celebrate the special day together. Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth will be sorely missed, passing away on September 8th.
King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla led the family on the walk to and from Sandringham House to the church where they were greeted by large crowds along the way.
Prince Louis made his first Christmas Day appearance. The prince who is 4 years old, started schooling only three months ago and did not seem shy in front of the cameras or well wishers.
The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children George, Charlotte and little Louis have their main country home, Anmer Hall on the king's Sandringham Estate.
Happy Christmas to our readers!
