New Photo Of The Queen And Great Grandchildren

 

April 21st would have been Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s 96th birthday. To mark the day, the Princess of Wales released a photo she had taken at Balmoral last summer of the Queen with several grand and great grandchildren.

Prince Edward’s children Lady Louise Windsor and James Viscount Severn ( now Earl of Wessex) , Peter Phillip’s daughters Savannah and Isla, Zara Tindall’s children Mia, Lena and Lucas and the then Cambridge ( now Wales) youngsters George, Charlotte and Louis are all present enjoying the last weeks of the Queen’s life.

Happy Birthday Prince Louis of Wales

 23rd April marks the 5th birthday of Prince Louis, youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

As with his father and siblings, Louis was born in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s hospital Paddington.

Louis attended Willcock’s Nursery School in South Kensington and last September started his formal schooling at Lambrook School near Windsor.

Known for his energy and cheeky personality, Louis is being gradually exposed to more public appearances such as recent Christmas Day and Easter Sunday church services and of course who could forget his four years of age exhuberance at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last June.

The life of the then Cambridge children George, Louis and Charlotte changed on 8th September 2022 when Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth passed away in Balmoral, Scotland. Their parents then became the Prince and Princess of Wales and far more is expected in terms of official duties and attention their family receives.

In just over two weeks we will see the coronation of King Charles III. Louis will attend this special moment in his grandfather’s life.

Easter Sunday Church Service Windsor Castle

The extended royal family turned out in force for Easter Sunday church service at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Young Prince Louis made his Easter debut, no doubt preparing him for next month’s Coronation.

George And William Enjoy Football Game

 Prince William took son Prince George to watch their team Aston Villa take on Nottingham Forest in Birmingham on Saturday. 

AstonVilla won 2-0 much to the delight of the royal spectators.

Prince George Of Wales To Have Role At Coronation

After much speculation, future king Prince George has been included in a

group of Pages Of Honour to serve at his grandfather King Charles's Coronation in less than a month.

George, who will turn 10 years old in July, will join other sons of nobility and Queen Camilla's grandsons in this honoured position.

The King's pages are his grandson Prince George, Nicholas Barclay, 13, grandson of Sarah Troughton one of the Queen's Companions, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, 13, son of the Marquess of Cholmondeley also known as film-maker David Rocksavage and a friend of the Prince of Wales, and Ralph Tollemache, 12.

The Queen's Pages of Honour will be her three grandsons, twin boys Gus and Louis, aged 13, by her daughter Laura Lopes, and 13-year-old Frederick, by son Tom Parker Bowles, and her great-nephew, Arthur Elliot, 10.

Page of Honour is a role usually granted to teenage sons of the nobility and they take part in major ceremonies involving the monarch, including coronations and the State Opening of Parliament.

Traditionally they wear a scarlet frock coat with gold trimmings over a white satin waistcoat, breeches and hose, white gloves, black buckled shoes and a lace cravat and ruffles.
