Baby Princess Charlotte was introduced to her Uncle Harry when the Prince travelled to Anmer Hall last Friday.

Prince Harry was on a secondment to the Australian Army when baby Charlotte was born on 2nd May. Harry revealed at the time that Prince William had sent him a photo shortly after the birth. The proud uncle then undertook an official tour of New Zealand.

No doubt young Prince George enjoyed a visit from Harry who is a neighbour of his brother's family at Kensington Palace.

Yesterday William visited the English Womens Football Team in his capacity as President of the Football Association.

The Duke of Cambridge was presented with a strip for Charlotte with her name and the number 1.

As reported on the BBC website:
Captain Steph Houghton said he told them "[Prince] George is very lively, and Princess Charlotte has been keeping him up all night."
She added: "But he said he was just happy to have them both here."

Apart from a possible appearance at the Trooping The Colour in June, The Duchess Of Cambridge is not expected to undertake official duties until after the summer.

Charlotte Elizabeth Diana

Tuesday 5th May, 2015

source: KensingtonRoyal
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced the name of their newborn daughter.

The baby has been named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. She will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.

Charlotte is a name used for Queens and princesses in the past. Elizabeth would be in honour of the baby's great grandmother the current Queen and great-great grandmother the late Queen Mother.

Diana is obviously after Prince William's late mother Diana, Princess of Wales who passed away in 1997. It is a special choice and one that had been hoped for by royal followers.

It is thought that the new family of four will travel to their country home Anmer Hall over the coming days. The home is on the Sandringham Estate, Norfolk where the Queen is expected to meet the new princess.

First Visitors For New Princess

Monday 4th May, 2015

The Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge received visits from close family
members on Sunday morning. Prince Charles and wife the Duchess Of Cornwall along with Catherine's parents Michael and Carole and sister Pippa came to meet the new princess.

The baby girl was born at 8.34am on Saturday morning and was taken home to Kensington Palace less than ten hours later. Brother Prince George will be adjusting to the new family member and no doubt was given lots of attention from his grandparents when they visited on Sunday.

Uncle Prince Harry who is currently working with Australian special forces in Perth released this statement:

"She is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to meet her."

The Cambridges too issued a message via twitter:

"The Duke and Duchess are hugely grateful for the messages of congratulations they have received from people all over the world.
It means a great deal to them that so many people have celebrated the arrival of their new daughter."

Next, there may be a visit from great-grandma Her Majesty The Queen.

Hopefully the name of the new baby will be released in the next couple of days.

Meeting The New Baby

Photos of Prince William taking Prince George to meet the new princess at the Lindo Wing bring back memories from September 1984.

When younger brother Prince Harry was born, Prince Charles took William to see Diana and the baby.

Fast forward to May 2015 and 21-months-old Prince George waved at the crowds before being taken in to see Catherine and new sister.

Wearing a cheery yellow and white Jenny Packham dress, The Duchess carried the baby out onto the hospital steps for photographs with the proud dad before she was placed into a capsule and carried to the waiting car by William.
