New Charlotte Photos

Image

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have issued new photographs of daughter Charlotte who turns five years old today. The pics were taken by the Duchess in April at and near their home Anmer Hall in Norfolk where the family is spending the COVID-19 lockdown.

Charlotte can be seen knocking on the doors of nearby pensioners to deliver gifts of food in this time of isolation and poverty throughout the globe.

Happy 5th Birthday Princess Charlotte

The 2nd of May sees Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge celebrate her 5th birthday. Charlotte is the middle child and only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Like her siblings George and Louis and father William, the young princess was born in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, not far from the family's London home-Apartment 1A, Kensington Palace. A few days after her birth, the Cambridges travelled to their country abode Anmer Hall in Norfolk where the family based themselves until mid 2017.

Charlotte and George were brought up in the relaxed atmosphere of the countryside, with Marvin the guinea pig and Lupo the black cocker spaniel. Nanny Maria Teresa helped Catherine and William balance growing royal duties and the Duke's job as helicopter pilot with East Anglia Air Ambulance, based in nearby Norwich airport. Anmer Hall is located on the Queen's Sandringham Estate and features a vegetable garden, tennis court and swimming pool. It offers the family much needed privacy.

In the late summer of 2017, the Cambridges changed their main residence to Kensington Palace due to a number of factors. William's grandfather Prince Philip retired from royal duties and the Queen was also stopping overseas royal tours and slowly handing down more responsibilities to her four children and the next generation - William and Catherine and Prince Harry.

William left his role as helicopter pilot and took up more royal commitments. Prince George was starting school in the September and so London became the natural move but the family goes back to Anmer for holidays, half term and some weekends. It is also where the COVID-19 lockdown is being spent.

Charlotte was baptised at St Mary Magdalene church on the Sandringham Estate on 5th July 2015 at just two months old. This is the same place that her late paternal grandmother Diana, Princess of Wales was baptised in 1961. Diana's family were also living on the Sandringham Estate at Park House.

The young princess started at Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington in January 2018 and then formal schooling at Thomas's Battersea from September 2019, joining brother George.

Charlotte loves dancing, pony riding and tennis. She is also very girly- liking pink, accessorises with little purses and is very fussy about her hair being braided.

Charlotte excels at her royal wave- enthusiastically waving to crowds from a young age and is very well behaved in public, aside from a few tongue-poking moments and a toddler tantrum on the tarmac in 2017.

The princess has been on royal tours to Canada in 2016 and Germany and Poland the following year.
Each year we have seen her on the balcony at Buckingham Palace for the Trooping the Colour flypast and she is a very popular flowergirl at family weddings.

join in Clap for Carers in support of NHS staff.

Prince Louis had spent the day enjoying his 2nd birthday.

Happy Birthday Prince Louis Of Cambridge

Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge is the second son and third child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Louis was born on 23rd April, 2018 in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington and within hours of his birth, siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte came to meet him for the first time.

The young prince has grown up at Kensington Palace, just as his father Prince William did. Holidays are usually at Anmer Hall in Norfolk near the Queen's Sandringham Estate.

Until COVID-19, Louis had been attending music classes for littlies with his mum Catherine. Nursery will most likely be Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington, just behind Royal Albert Hall. Charlotte spent 18 months at Willcocks from the age of two and a half. We can most likely expect this will occur for Louis too next January.

Just last week the Duchess said that Louis is obsessed with the red off button on mobile phones and creates havoc during face time calls with friends and family!!

The Cambridges are spending the Corona virus lockdown at Anmer Hall which is where Louis can expect lots of "virtual" greeting from family on his 2nd birthday.

Mother's Day 2020

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge marked Mother's Day by releasing four beautiful images of their family and extended family.

Charlotte and George are now being schooled at home just like the rest of the UK's children due to the Corona virus lock down.

On Sunday 18th March, Catherine and her three children were spotted at Sainburys in Kings Lynn not far from their home Anmer Hall. A royal fan Kate Carter spotted the family when she was doing her own shopping.

From express.co.uk/royal:

"She was with the children, and she looked lovely.

“She is absolutely beautiful, and the children were beautiful. They were so well behaved."
The royal watcher added that she noticed Charlotte first because she was wearing the green coat she wore to church on Christmas Day.

Ms Carter said: “Then I saw Kate, who had Louis in her arms and I thought 'Am I the only one seeing this?' I couldn't believe it was happening.

"She was just having a little bit of a walk around.
“They were looking at the clothes when I saw them. Charlotte was looking at the dresses, she was dead cute.”

Down-to-earth Kate wore jeans and a beige jacket for the outing.

Earlier this month, she was pictured leaving Waterstones in London with a bag filled with books.
Kate is said to have asked for history and military-themed books for children."

Keep well everyone and enjoy the pics!

How The Cambridges Spent Half-Term

Prince George and Princess Charlotte enjoyed their half-term break with the family at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

Prince William was speaking to guests at his latest engagement in Wales on Saturday and mentioned that he and his family spent the week on their farm lambing.

“We’ve been lambing with the children this week. Charlotte wasn’t sure at first but George was straight in there. Louis loves the tractors. They love seeing the lambs and feeding the lambs.”

Whilst we don't have a photo of the lucky lambs, the Duchess of Cambridge recently shared one of her favourite snaps of Princess Charlotte smelling a bluebell. It looks like it was taken at the same time as Charlotte's 4th birthday photos, released in May 2019.

The Duchess of Cambridge was photographed arriving at Kensington Palace with youngest son Prince Louis on her 38th birthday, 9th January.

Perhaps Catherine and Louis had been to drop off George and Charlotte at Thomas's Battersea for a day of school.

Michael Middleton was pictured arriving at the Palace to see his daughter on her birthday.
