Kensington Palace has announced details of Princess Charlotte's christening.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen Sunday 5th July as the day Charlotte will be christened at St Mary Magdalene church on the Sandringham Estate not far from their country home, Anmer Hall.
It is thought that the date will mean The Queen can attend before she heads north to Balmoral Castle in Scotland for her summer holidays.
Princess Charlotte will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at St Mary Magdalene Church, the same venue used for her late grandmother Diana, Princess of Wales' christening in 1961. As a young child, Diana also lived on the Sandringham Estate at Park House.
