Princess Charlotte of Cambridge starts her formal schooling this Thursday when she joins brother Prince George at Thomas's Battersea.Charlotte will start in Reception class and learn numbers, handwriting, ballet, French, sport as well as the school mantra Be Kind.
Catherine and William will drop off their two eldest children for the first day of the school year and photos to mark the little princess's important day will be released by Kensington Palace.
George who is moving into year 2 will no doubt help his sister settle in. The royal youngsters are known to students and staff as Charlotte and George Cambridge just as their dad was known as William Wales ( Wales being Charles's title).
