Happy 8th Birthday Princess Charlotte

 May 2nd marks the 8th birthday of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Wales. Charlotte was born to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, Paddington after a short labour in 2015.

The little princess spent her early years living with her older brother George at Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate, Norfolk. In mid 2017, the Cambridge family ( as they were then) moved back to Kensington Palace and Prince Louis was born the following April.

Charlotte is known for her confidence and composure in public and ready with a wave or smile. Gymnastics, dancing, horse riding and tennis are some of the princess's interests and she loves having her hair worn in pretty styles. 

Charlotte's early schooling was at Willcock's Nursery School in Kensington, followed by Thomas's Battersea until last September when the three siblings started at Lambrook School near their new home in Windsor.
