United States President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle dined with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry on Friday night. 
The Cambridges hosted the dinner in their apartment in Kensington Palace for the President who is nearing the end of his presidency. Obama, who is on a farewell visit to the UK also met with the Queen at Windsor Castle for lunch. Prince George was allowed to extend his bedtime by a few minutes so he could meet the Obamas. Dressed in his pyjamas, slippers and white robe, George greeted his visitors and then showed them how he can ride the rocking horse Barack and Michelle gave him at the time of his birth.
Princess Charlotte, who will be turning one in a few weeks, was tucked in bed so was not able to join the gathering.
Then it was off to bed for the young prince and the five adults were left to enjoy the evening.
