New Louis Photo

A new photo of Prince Louis of Cambridge has been released to coincide with a BBC documentary. The program called Prince, Son & Heir: Charles at 70 was televised this week to celebrate Prince Charles's 70th birthday later this month.

The photo of Charles, grandson Louis and daughter-in-law Catherine was taken by Chris Jackson in Clarence House's gardens in September.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued their week long tour of India and Bhutan yesterday. 

The royal couple made a six hour trek to Bhutan's Tiger's Nest monastery which is 3000m up a mountain side. BBC's Peter Hunt asked William if he was missing his children:

"Massively yes, of course. And we're looking forward to seeing them," he said. "They're in good hands."

The prince said that he and his wife Catherine had spoken to George and Charlotte "many times".

This has been the longest time the Duke and Duchess have been parted from two year old George and Charlotte who will be one in a few weeks.

According to Hello magazine: 
The Tiger's Nest monastery is considered the most important Buddhist temple in Bhutan. It was built in 1692 and is located close to the cave where Guru Padmasambhava – who is credited with introducing Buddhism to Bhutan – is said to have meditated for three years, three months, three weeks and three days in the eighth century.

The royal party has just landed in Agra where William and Catherine will tour the Taj Mahal.

Charlotte And George News

Prince William has proudly told how his daughter Princess Charlotte is already kicking a football.

"She's a very good footballer. You hold her hand and she kicks it," William said. "Very sweet".

William was attending a reception at Wembley Stadium in his capacity as President of the Football Association (FA). Charlotte will celebrate her first birthday on May 2nd.

Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales has spoken about his love of gardening in a BBC Radio 4 broadcast. Charles has already had grandson Prince George help him plant two trees at Highgrove House. He expressed his hope that his grandchildren will come to love gardening as much as he himself does. 

In fact Charles and sister Anne were given small plots of land to care for at Buckingham Palace when they were young children. 

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will start their 6 day tour of India and Bhutan on April 10th. Their children will remain at Anmer Hall with their nanny and stick to a routine which includes George attending nursery school a few mornings a week.

Unseen photo

Viewers of a BBC interview that was streamed live on the internet in November,  saw a never released photo of Prince Charles holding his first grandchild Prince George. 

The photograph was taken by Jason Bell in October 2013 after George's christening.

Prince Charles was interviewed to encourage young people to get involved in helping others. Whilst admitting social media is not his forte, Charles acknowledged that is an effective way of reaching a huge audience. 

The framed photo of Charles and George was displayed on a table in The Prince Of Wales' Garden Room in Clarence House.
