Kensington Palace has tweeted a photo of the assembled media and onlookers outside St Mary's hospital.
The Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth to her baby "sometime" this month.
As no due date has been given by Kensington Palace we all have to rely on supposition and hope!
Catherine
and William's first two children were overdue by several days.
Charlotte was due in April 2015 but arrived on May 2nd. Royal
commentators are hoping the baby makes an appearance on any of the
following:
21st April: Her Majesty's birthday
23rd April: St George's Day- patron saint of England
29th April: William and Catherine's 7th wedding anniversary
Parking barricades have already been erected outside the hospital.
To
avoid inconvenience to St Mary's Hospital patients and staff, media
will not be allowed to take up their places outside the Lindo Wing until
an official message is sent to media organisations once the Duchess is
well in labour.

Prince George was recently seen at Snettisham Park petting zoo and farm with his heavily pregnant Mum Catherine.
Catherine, who is due to give birth to the new Cambridge prince or princess sometime this month was enjoying spending time with her firstborn at the farm not far from Anmer Hall.
George who is now 21-months-old enjoyed playing with other young children and farm animals. He was even spotted bottle feeding a piglet.
The little prince was warmly dressed in a navy blue puffer suit.

Arrangements Outside St Mary's Hospital Underway
Police, the palace and hospital staff are this week starting to erect parking barriers and media pens outside St Mary's Hospital in Paddington. The Duchess Of Cambridge is due to give birth to her second child in the next two weeks at The Lindo Wing.
Kensington Palace has already asked the media to stay away from the hospital until an official tweet is sent to media outlets once The Duchess is in labour.
The Palace, on behalf of Catherine and William, has passed on thanks to wellwishers:
"They know that people are excited that Prince George will soon have a little brother or sister and it means a great deal to them that so many will be celebrating this important moment for their family,"

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have tried successfully to shield Prince George from the glare of publicity thus far.
Photos were released at key stages in George's life- as a newborn, his Christening (right) at four months of age and then again in late March 2014 before the Cambridge's tour of Australia and New Zealand. These were all portraits released by Kensington Palace.
But the very successful tour Down Under saw George boarding or disembarking aircraft a number of times and also attending his first two public engagements.
The first was at the family support agency Plunket playdate in Wellington, New Zealand when he played with ten other babies of similar ages at Government House. The other was at Sydney's Taronga Zoo Bilby enclosure where George tried his best to grab the poor unsuspecting marsupial (also named George!).
Whenever in public during the tour, George's boundless energy and determined expressions showed he is a a force to be reckoned with.
Then there was George and Catherine attending a polo match to watch Prince William on Father's Day (right). A few weeks later, three portraits were released for George's 1st birthday.
More recently another three new George portraits were issued to mark Christmas.
The little prince will become a big brother in April. We will no doubt get to see George visiting Mum and new baby in hospital just as Prince William did when Prince Harry was born.
While there have been paparazzi photos of George playing in London parks with his nanny, this blog chooses not to engage in "pap photos".
It will be interesting to see how Catherine and William choose to manage their children's media exposure once they start school. I do think The Prince and Princess of Wales did an excellent job in protecting the privacy of their sons until they were in their early twenties. This was despite the very messy public separation and divorce of the couple.
