Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge have finished school and nursery for the Easter break.
School will not resume until 24th of April so the children, along with little brother Louis will be able to see their grandparents, perhaps at the Middleton family home in Berkshire. There will also be time for an extended stay at Amner Hall and a 1st birthday party for Louis who celebrates his big milestone on 23rd April.
A skiing trip could be on the cards but this will be kept low key and we are unlikely to know until after the fact when some photos would be released in exchange for privacy.
Prince William is planned to travel to Christchurch in New Zealand. The visit was requested by Prime Minister Jacinda Adern in the wake of the horrible attacks in the city this month. William also visited Christchurch after it's destructive earthquakes in 2011.
Due dates and hospital are still unknown for Baby Sussex but it is likely that he or she will arrive during the school holiday/ Easter period.
Whatever the Cambridge family chooses to do we wish them an enjoyable holiday break!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children George and Charlotte spent Easter with Catherine's family in Berkshire.
Carole and
Michael Middleton hosted the the family for what would have been a fun
time in the lead up to the arrival of the third Cambridge baby.
Catherine
and William enjoy being part of normal family gatherings and the
children would have been doted on by their grandparents.
On
Easter Sunday, the Duke and Duchess travelled to nearby Windsor Castle
to attend mass with the Royal Family. However they became stuck in a
traffic jam and arrived at St George's Chapel after Her Majesty. The
Queen is always last to arrive and this lapse in protocol would not have
pleased Her Majesty.
Anyone stuck in traffic knows that there is little that can be done but be patient. One would think that police outriders could have eased the path but perhaps that was not possible.
The Duchess looked lovely with her baby bump seeming to grow daily. With each pregnancy she suffers from extreme morning sickness which requires extended periods of bed rest and medical intervention. But towards the end Catherine seems much more energetic and can be seen out and about shopping.
On Easter Monday the family was back at their country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk. Photos have appeared on the internet showing Catherine shopping at Waitrose in Norfolk.
George and Charlotte will be due back at school and preschool in London so it is expected the Cambridges will head back to their Kensington Palace home soon.
According to Hello magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children will spend Christmas Day with Catherine's family in Berkshire.
Since
their marriage, this will only be the second time Catherine and William
have spent Christmas Day away from the Royal Family. The first time was
in 2012 when the Duchess was suffering extreme morning sickness in the
early stages of her pregnancy with Prince George.
The
Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire will be filled with the
excitement of young children opening their presents from Santa on
Christmas Day.
Catherine's sister Pippa is to be married next May and no doubt the sisters will be looking at the plans for the big day.
It
is expected that the Cambridge family will return to Anmer Hall on the
Sandringham Estate to spend some of the season with The Queen, William's
father the Prince of Wales and brother Prince Harry.
Hopefully we will see a new photo of George and Charlotte released soon for Christmas.
Last Saturday 28th May, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took
their children to the Houghton International Horse Trials.
The horse trials are celebrating their tenth year and are held at Houghton Hall near Kings Lynn in Norfolk. The Cambridge home Anmer Hall is close by.
Prince George wore a blue and white striped jumper by Next. Charlotte sported a pale blue cardigan and a blue bow in her hair.
The family spent time with friend James Meade and his wife Lady Laura Marsham. James is a school friend of William and is godfather to little Princess Charlotte.
After enjoying
a picnic the family left for home. Prince William flew by helicopter to
Berkshire to attend a charity polo match alongside brother Prince
Harry.
