George & Charlotte Back to School

Princess Charlotte. Prince George wore Columbia fleece jacket, Kate Middleton wore Barbour longshore quilted jacket
The Easter weekend marks the end of the month long Easter break for Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.

Much of the holiday has been spent at the Cambridges' home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall. The property on the Queen's Sandringham Estate is the family's "bolthole" where they have total privacy and spent much of the children's early years before formally moving to London in 2017.

The property has a tennis court, vegetable gardens and beautiful country to play in, just as the Duchess of Cambridge did, growing up in the Berkshire countryside. The family have a cocker spaniel, Lupo and at one stage a guinea pig named Marvin.

Both George and Charlotte are learning to ride ponies and Charlotte has tennis lessons when in London.

During the break the Duke and Duchess and the older children attended Burnham Horse Trials to watch William's cousin Zara Tindall ( also George's godmother) compete.

So now it is back to London where George attends Thomas's Battersea and Charlotte goes to Willcocks Nursery School close to Royal Albert Hall in Kensington. Charlotte will celebrate her 4th birthday in early May and will start "big school" after the long Summer break.

But for now the focus is on little Prince Louis who turns 1 on 23rd April. Happy Birthday to Louis.

Cambridges and Tindall's Day Out

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte enjoyed a day out with royal relatives on Friday.

Prince William's cousin Zara Tindall, her husband Mike and daughter's Mia and Lena joined the Cambridge family at the Burnham horse trials in Norfolk. Zara, who is George's godmother, was taking part in the event.

Charlotte was given a ride on mum Catherine's shoulder's while William piggy backed Mia. George was similarly carried by Mike.

The royal children are on Easter break from school and will be celebrating younger brother Louis' first birthday on April 23rd.

Enjoy the first photos. We will publish more as they surface.

Young Royals At The Polo

Monday 15th June, 2015

Prince George has had a very busy weekend with his extended family.

On Saturday George made his debut at the Trooping The Colour ceremony which marks The Queen's official birthday. The young prince wore the same blue outfit his father William wore at his first appearance at the event in 1984.

Then yesterday George and his mum Catherine watched William play polo with uncle Prince Harry. The brothers took part in a charity event at the Beaufort Polo Club in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. As youngsters Princes William and Harry spent their weekends at their parents country home Highgrove House near Tetbury.

Prince Charles made an appearance as did William's cousins Zara Tindall (George's godmother) and Peter Phillips with their families.

Cute George Photo

Monday 27th April, 2015

Prince George appears in the current edition of Australian magazine Woman's Day. Little George was photographed with his nanny on an outing in London last week.

The trend-setting royal sported green framed sunglasses and wavy strawberry-blonde locks.

Rather than sitting in his stroller, George held nanny Maria Teresa's hand and helped her push the push-chair across the road.

Catherine Out Shopping

A week ago The Duchess Of Cambridge was seen shopping at Zara Home in Kensington High Street, just a stones throw from Kensington Palace.

Despite being due to have her baby any day, Catherine was polite and relaxed whilst she waited for her purchases to be wrapped.

Countdown To Baby Cambridge!

Monday 9th February, 2015

Prince George with Catherine and William
With the new Baby Cambridge due "sometime" in April, the countdown to the birth has begun.

As with big brother George, the new baby will be born at The Lindo Wing, St Mary's Hospital in Paddington.

The Lindo Wing (est. 1937) is a private facility within the greater St Mary's Hospital. Here patients enjoy a more bespoke experience and have their own consultant-led care but if needs be, access to the teaching hospital expertise and neonatal unit is available.

Other royal babies to be born here:
  • Prince and Princess Michael of Kent's children Lord Frederick (1979) and Lady Gabriella Windsor (1981)
  • Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips son Peter (1977) and daughter Zara (1981)
  • The Prince and Princess of Wales' sons Princes William (1982) and Harry (1984)
Fees for the hospital birth range from GBP 5215.00 for a normal delivery (first 24 hours) up to GBP 6745.00 for a caesarean section.

Additional nights are GBP 945.00 (superior), GBP 1155.00 (deluxe) and prices for suites are available upon request.

New parents are offered Champagne to toast their baby's arrival. Rooms include internet, ensuite bathrooms, fridge, a fully-reclining chair for Dad to stay overnight as well as support from specialist midwives and maternity nurses.

The only problem for Catherine and William will be the noise of well wishers and media outside the hospital!
